I understand you've placed the
avchat30 folder in
/opt/red5/webapps/ as well, can you confirm?
Also I understand you're accessing the AVChat files that go on the web server (usually Apache) through Red5's Tomcat webserver via port 5080 at http://126.96.36.199:5080/chat/ .
The main AVChat files do load but it get's stuck at "Loading Settings..." which is to be expected.
AVChat loads a bunch of config & language files including
Your copy of AVChat gets stuck because the
avc_settings.php is NOT executed/run by the Tomcat web server thus Tomcat returns it as a plain text file instead of executing it and returning the output.
Here's the expected output of
avc_settings.php from our demo.
- find a way for that Tomcat to run PHP
- move AVChat's web server files to an Apache/nginx web server that runs PHP
