@mmjr2000 my suggestion would be to get a developer to create a wordpress integration for you. It really shouldn’t be too difficult or cost too much. And when a wordpress update does break the integration it’s just a matter of asking said dev to update the integration file. That way you’re not beholden to avchat and you’ll have an easier time with updates on wordpress.
On the other hand, their addpipe offering shows them to be distancing themselves from flash AND creating a new recurring revenue stream. So people like myself, who have bought hdfvr will now have to take on a monthly subscription should we wish to still offer video recording on our sites.
Perhaps making avchat html5 is too much work for them, and realistically, if they are trying to create a recurring revenue stream, they’ll find many of their current avchat clients very unhappy.
I have said this to Octavian before, “If you’re no longer in a position to service the people who have supported you through purchasing your products, at least have to common courtesy to tell them.”
